Mom treated us to a very special showing of the award-winning short film, "Peter and the Wolf" with world class music performed by the Kansas City Symphony. It was a very cool day as the kids got to take a walk through the musical "petting zoo" before the performance. They played xylophones, clarinet, trumpet, drums, french horn.....all sorts of good stuff. We had a great time....and the music was just fantastic.
We went back to the ranch afterward for some nice down time followed by squirrel hunting, dirt piling, card playing, nap taking and tea drinking. Such a good weekend.
