The incisions and removals are now complete. Val is undergoing heated chemo which will end at 8 and she should be in ICU by 9. She'll remain sedated through the night and they'll revive her in the morning. That will be the first time she's been conscious since early this morning. The goal is to have her out of bed and sitting in a chair sometime tomorrow.
The doc said he thinks she'll get a lot of "mileage" out of this procedure, but will still have to take follow-up chemo treatments in the near future. More details on that later.
All in all....the 99% removal figure is gonna stick. Now it's time to pray for a fast recovery.
